We are beginning a new study on the book of Hebrews, a book meant to encourage believers in a time of uncertainty. Join a group of men from across the country studying God’s Word in the FaithTree Men’s Bible Study!
Faithtoberfest returns! This year may not be a normal year, but God is good and we are ready to celebrate Him and His faithfulness to us! On October 16 we had a special, live streamed festival of incredible music from gifted artists all around our area, entertaining skits and terrific gift card prizes! Relive the entire event, below.
The Bible calls us to pray on all occasions and to constantly pray for God’s people (Ephesians 6:18). This Spring, more than 600 people from all over responded to the call to gather and pray at our Spring Online Prayer Walk. It was an incredible, encouraging day that we know the Lord used in powerful ways and one we are eager to repeat. Let’s join together to pray in Jesus’s name once again at our second Online Prayer Walk today, August 20! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
We are called every day to pray without ceasing and to rejoice before our God (1 Thess. 5:16-18). FaithTree had planned a Spring Prayer Walk to pray for our community in that spirit that had to be canceled last month due to the situation around the coronavirus. However, in partnership with our sponsoring churches, other wonderful area churches and individuals throughout the community, we are going to have an online prayer walk today, May 14! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
These are uncertain times and, normally, in such seasons we rightly want the comfort God provides through His church. The doors of the nation’s churches are largely closed for the safety of all of those who would otherwise attend, yet the church doors being closed does not mean the church is closed or, more importantly, that God’s care for you is somehow “closed.” Our partner churches are busy putting together online opportunities for worship, encouragement from God’s Word, prayer and more, and we’re launching our first ever online Bible study at FaithTree, too.
With “social distancing” shutting down much of our society, including traditional, in-person Bible studies, FaithTree is offering a Men’s Bible Study for men of all ages going through the comforting Servant Songs of the Book of Isaiah. It will be facilitated by two pastors familiar to FaithTree, Pastor Tim (of Little Hills Church) and Pastor Brad (of Bible Baptist Church).
On a crisp autumn evening, we'll have a festive evening of delicious food, a fun games, fantastic prizes and an outdoor worship concert by the campfire! This will be a great night to get to know young adults from local churches, campus ministries and more, get plugged in and just have fun. There are more great announcements to come, so RSVP right away to stay up-to-date. Please invite friends to join you and then sign up right away by going to our Faithtoberfest 19 Facebook Event. This is a night not to miss! The fun starts at 6:30 p.m.
We have so much coming up over the next few weeks during our first ever Summertime Festival at FaithTree! Discover (or rediscover) FaithTree as we begin our Summertime Festival with “Midsummer Café,” a night filled with delicious appetizers, favorite praise songs and fun conversation with friends old and new over dessert. Then continue the festivities with the Seventh Annual Film Festival as well as a special Dinner and Pool Party night! You won't want to miss any of it!
We always love when you can join us in person, but due to the pandemic we are streaming online only for the rest of 2020. Please join our stream and share in fellowship on chat during it!
O Christmas (Faith)Tree is something very special: a celebratory service at 7:00 p.m. that interweaves favorite Christmas carols and songs — both old and new and in a range of styles — with the story of Christmas that runs from Genesis through Revelation. This year, making use of the live-streaming format of the service, we are celebrating Christmas around the world, with Scripture readings from readers on almost every continent. We also have several special musical pieces from JGM Church's choirs in Nairobi, Kenya to accompany the FaithTree worship teams musical contributions to the service.
