Dear FaithTree Friends,
These are uncertain times and, normally, in such seasons we rightly want the comfort God provides through His church. The doors of the nation’s churches are largely closed for the safety of all of those who would otherwise attend, yet the church doors being closed does not mean the church is closed or, more importantly, that God’s care for you is somehow “closed.”
Our partner churches are busy putting together online opportunities for worship, encouragement from God’s Word, prayer and more, and we’re launching our first ever online Bible study at FaithTree, too. These opportunities include:
UPDATE (5/9/2020): Join us for an online prayer walk on Thursday, May 14, in partnership with a number of local churches. You can find the details here.
FaithTree’s first ever online Men’s Bible Study will begin on Thursday, March 26 at 7 pm. It will be led by Pastor Brad of Bible Baptist and myself (Tim). It is open to any man, not just regular FaithTree attenders, who would like to dig into comforting passages from the Servant Songs in Isaiah during this present crisis. The study will be conversational amongst everyone attending, taking place over video conferencing to make it as much like an in-person Bible study as we can.
Little Hills Church: I (Tim) am live streaming a message series entitled Steadfast based on Psalm 57 on Mondays at 7 pm. Please consider joining me as we hear reassurance of God’s purposes for us in hard times. Past messages are archived over on the Little Hills web site.
Bible Baptist Church is planning to use Facebook Live to share Sunday morning (11:00 a.m.) and Wednesday evening (7:00 pm) worship services. Please visit their Facebook Page at those times to get to their live stream.
Harvester Christian Church has launched Harvester Online, which includes two Sunday service live streams (10:45 am and 4:30 pm) as well as various other resources and live streams for Bible study, children’s ministry and more.
Immanuel Lutheran Church will be posting services, music and Bible studies throughout the week. Pastor Ryan goes into all the details of their offerings here.
Grace Baptist Church will be streaming its Sunday morning service at 10:45 am.
I will keep updating this page with more resources from the churches involved with FaithTree in the coming days. I pray some of these resources will be a blessing to you.
Blessings,
Pastor Tim
